We make this Prasad specially for Kadhai on Nagpanchami or for pujas like Satyanarayan or so...
It is very easy to make and it tastes delicious!!
Ingredients
- 1 cup semolina(rawa)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup ghee(clarified butter)
- 1 1/2 cup milk(whole)
- 1 banana(ripe)
- 1/4 tsp cardamon powder
- a few strands of saffron
- dry-fruits (cashew, raisins, almonds)
Method
- Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
- When the ghee is heated, add semolina to it. Cook in ghee on a medium flame until red.
- While semolina is getting cooked, smash the banana in a bowl and keep it aside.
- Mix saffron in water in a small bowl.
- Now add milk, saffron and smashed banana to semolina
- Cook a bit then add sugar to it.
- Now cook it well.
- After it is cooked well add cardamon powder and some dry-fruits.
- Now our prasad is ready. Garnish it with dry-fruits and serve hot.
